Buying an apartment in Benidorm
Where are the apartments?
Right on Poniente Beach in Benidorm (Alicante), on Avenida Vicente Llorca Alós. The old town is about 10 minutes away and Alicante-Elche Airport about 45.
What does each apartment include?
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open living-dining-kitchen and a sea-view terrace; kitchen with premium appliances, aerothermal system, home automation and heat-recovery ventilation. Owners have a private lobby, their own pool and access to the complex's services (beach club, spa, gym, sky gardens). Parking is optional. The home can be placed in the hotel rental scheme through the hotel operator.
Can I buy if I don't live in Spain?
Yes. Anyone can buy property in Spain, whether or not they are resident; you only need an NIE (foreigner identification number). We help you with the paperwork and with financing for non-residents.
What taxes are paid?
As the homes are intended for hotel operation, the purchase carries 21% VAT plus stamp duty (AJD). If the home is operated as tourist accommodation through a professional manager and the other tax requirements are met, the reverse-charge scheme may apply and no VAT is paid to the developer. We recommend confirming this with a tax adviser.

Can I get a mortgage if I don't live in Spain?
